This policy explains what happens to information collected when you use rapidhealthcares.com. It applies to this website and to email sent to the addresses published on it.
Who is responsible
Rapid Healthcares is the controller of the personal data described here. Questions about this policy, or any request to exercise the rights set out below, should go to [email protected].
What we collect
- Usage data: the pages you visit, the site or search that referred you, the approximate region your request came from, and technical details such as browser and device type.
- Information you send us: anything you choose to put in an email to us, including your address and whatever your message contains.
- Cookie and similar identifiers: see our cookie policy for the specifics.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not ask for health information. Please do not send us details of your own medical condition — we cannot act on them, and sending them puts sensitive information in an inbox that does not need it.
A note on health-related browsing
Which articles you read on a health site can imply something about you. We therefore do not build advertising profiles from what you read here, we do not sell usage data, and we do not share article-level reading data with third parties for marketing. Aggregate figures — how many people read a piece — carry nothing that identifies a reader.
Why we collect it
- To serve the site and keep it working, which is our legitimate interest in running the service you asked for.
- To understand which articles are read and which are not, so we know what to write more of. Where consent is required for the cookies that measure this, we ask for it first.
- To answer correspondence, which is our legitimate interest in replying to people who write to us.
- To meet legal obligations where one applies, and to protect the site against abuse.
Who it is shared with
Service providers who host the site, deliver it, and produce our analytics process data on our behalf and under contract. They may process it outside your country; where they do, transfers are covered by the safeguards the law requires. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
How long we keep it
Server logs are kept for up to 90 days and then deleted. Analytics data is retained in aggregate only. Correspondence is kept for as long as the matter it concerns is open, and for up to two years afterwards so we can follow up on a correction.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to withdraw a consent you have given, and to receive it in a portable form. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Children
This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.
Other sites
Our articles link to studies, regulators and other publishers. Those sites have their own privacy policies and this one does not cover them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will say so on this page, with the date of the change. The version published here is the one that applies.
