If we have published something inaccurate, tell us and include a link to the article. Corrections are made on the page itself and noted at the foot of it, with the date the change was made. We do not quietly edit a claim out of a piece.
Story tips and research
Researchers, clinicians and press offices are welcome to send work ahead of publication. Tell us the embargo date and we will hold to it.
Privacy and data requests
Requests about personal data — what we hold, or asking us to delete it — go to [email protected] so they are logged and answered within the statutory window.
What we cannot do
We cannot answer individual medical questions, review symptoms, comment on a diagnosis, or recommend a treatment or a doctor. Messages asking for any of these will go unanswered — not out of rudeness, but because answering them would be practising medicine without knowing you, seeing you, or being licensed to do it.
