About Us
Who Rapid Healthcares is, what we cover, and how our health reporting is put together.
Rapid Healthcares reports on health and medicine for people who are trying to make a decision, not for people who are trying to pass an exam. Every piece starts from the same question: what does this actually change for the reader?
What we cover
Conditions and their treatment, nutrition and weight, fitness and sleep, mental health, women's health, and the medicines and vaccines that reach the public. We follow regulatory decisions, published research and safety recalls, and we explain what each one means in practice.
How a story gets written
Our writers work from primary sources wherever one exists — the published paper, the regulator's own notice, the manufacturer's statement — rather than from another outlet's write-up. Where a finding is preliminary, small, or has not been through peer review, we say so in the piece rather than in a footnote.
What we are not
We are a publisher, not a clinic. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prescription or a treatment plan, and no article is a substitute for a conversation with a clinician who can examine you and read your history. See our medical disclaimer for the full position.
